Agreed

It seems he relishes that persona and I get why he would, many tasks become hamfisted when finesse is in short supply and or things go south for lack of skill/patience/proper tools and experience.

It often seems like he shows the brute force method for dramatic effect, some of his hacks may be far less crude when the camera is off, I suspect there is often prep work that enhances the shock value when it comes flying apart with a crash, bang.
