On YouTube, I has somebody commenting that my 45NRTH Dillinger4 tires aren't needed. I made a short video of what studded tires will do for you on bare ice. If you don't ride on ice, there's no reason for studs, but if you ride on snow and ice, Dillinger tires are outstanding (for fatbikes):

This is a full stop from ~15 mph, in roughly 50 ft, on ice you could skate on, easy to control (small wobble at the end because I'm not great with track stands)

Banned.
Ice is the easy part. Just gave up riding the unplowed path. Drifting made it deeper and enough people had walked through it that it was packed down but the packing was spotty. A hundred feet and my forearms were aching. Went to a mostly abandoned road with a hill that was plowed and did hill intervals instead. If the river would freeze solid that would be great, though there are little damns that would ruin that as well.
