Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I need help to ID my frame please

I have just got a very poor looking state single speed frame that was left in a garden when someone moved out and I was gifted it from the new house owner,
It's a large steel frame and fork with rear dropouts that have a built in chain tentioner consisting of a long bolt that screws through the dropout with a letter C on them, the frame also has a large C stamped into the headtube, I'm going to build this frame up but would like to know if anyone knows of the frame make, I think it's a charge plug but can't seem to find any on Google that have a stamped C on headtube, any help much appreciated

No pictures, what is the point? If you are interested in bikes then join in on some active discussions and in no time you will be able to post pictures. Not into bikes and just looking to use us as google, maybe try altavista or askjeeves.

Sorry, Slapdash we get a lot of folks using us like google and don't really have the interest in the forums they ask a question and never come back. I didn't mean to seem so harsh but without pictures it is tough to tell much. Post around get involved and you will be able to post photos in no time.

The Swobo Del Norte had a chain tensioning screw like the one you describe, but there just isn't enough info in your description to hazard a guess.

None of the Charge Plug's I've seen had chain-tensioning screws.

Is the "C" stamped into the rear fork end? Or is it a decal like this?

If you want, you can post photos to the gallery on your user page and then we can find them there.
