Vivente vs Priority

I'm looking at two bikes, the Gibb from Vivente and the 600 from Priority, about the same price,
one with Pinion and one with Rohloff, I do light touring, not around the world. I like to try Pinion gear,
but the Vivente seems more oriented toward touring, with more quality parts, like dynamo and light.
What would be your advice, not easy to find a Pinion bicycle with Gate for this price. Import duty
will probably be the same,

The Vivente gets lots of good press and owner feedback on local Australian cycle forums to the point that I’d consider one should my Surly suffer catastrophic failure.
I’ve heard great things regarding their after sales service and repairs.

Ive not seen one in the flesh.

Im not familiar with the other brand

I am pretty happy with my Rohloff, I have never seen a Pinion.

At this thread, the owner of a Pinion described a trip he took and mentioned his Pinion.

A couple youtube videos you may have already watched:

I am in USA, have not been watching the Canadian Dollar, but I can say that the US Dollar has been pretty strong against the Euro lately. Looks like the Canadian Dollar is also doing well against the Euro.

I did not search out the two, so I have no comments on any other details. Good luck with your decision. a bike with either is an investment that you should plan on enjoying for many years.

I would go Rohloff with Dynamo without hesitation.
