You swim in generic swim trunks. If you have jammers on, people might think you're a................triathlete.

No one's making you post that kind of insulting, condescending remark. I responded politely in agreement with one of your posts and you picked a nit-picky and very tedious argument over whether "cycling kit" was British vs. British-sounding. Sorry you made a complete fool of yourself with the "cycling uniform" bit.
You don't want to talk to me, quit responding to my posts. It's not rocket science.

I'm sorry that you are so resistant to being taught things, but I take some solace in the obvious fact that so few people have been successful at it.
I tried that, but you found me here and responded to a post I made. So I'll ask you again: leave me alone. Thanks.

I'm embarrassed for you that this needs explaining: "Kit" is chiefly a British term. "Uniform" is what it means. We say "baseball uniform" and "football uniform" in the United States. In Great Britain, they call all of it "kit." Just because we don't say "cycling uniform" doesn't change this.

And if you think you taught me that "kit", "uniform" and "gear" can be used similarly, you've got a pretty inflated opinion of the extent of your knowledge. BTW, the definition or whatever it was you posted said Americans call all the clothing athletes wear "uniforms", so it's still quite wrong. Posting it was a face plant, get over it.

Project much?
Or you could just leave people alone when they ask you three times. I get the impression you're no stranger to restraining orders.

moving target
More often than not I get lasts years jerseys on sale, and my preference is plain black kit, but for visibility, I have to go with other colors sometimes

Wearing team logos is nothing more than a fashion statement and serves no useful purpose.

I always wear my current club kit. In the past I have worn my team kit depending on who I have been racing for, but I have never worn 'pro team kit' from world tour type teams

That's just it. These jerseys are made in the same places (Presumably China) as the $80-$100 jerseys that say Specialized, Trek, Giant or whatever team logo or big brand name may be on them.
