All Fuji are rated for 355#. Raleigh frames are tested to 550 but tires limit it to 355# and diamond backs as well. I saw a frame test to 1,500# force by cannondale. But limited to 285 for road, 330 cyclecross and 355 for there touring bikes.

I had a simular issue when i was building my Wolverine and Soma Saga. I ended up going with Velocity 36h Cliffhangers. They are amazing. Very stiff. Im at 270# and i have my 35# kid on the bag and extra weight on the front, and no issues whatsoever. At the same time, i tend to gravitate toward steel frames, so i can say anything about a carbon frame. not my jam, yet...
