Raleigh 27" 15 speed Mixte with high bars, converted with Tong Sheng 48V 500W TSDZ2 mid drive. Powered with DIY 48V7AH 26 cell battery in a water bottle.

A very mild mannered, slow pig of an ebike. It's torque sensor, and tops out around 21 mph on 48V with pedal assist. Throttle is 16-18 mph,

Good looking bike though. I plan to look at the OSF firmware loads available for this motor that are reputed to unlock its potential.

I would post a picture, but my new EP-2 Pro won't be here until Tuesday. It was scheduled to be here today. Had the garage all prepped and ready to assemble, even had a good mix of tunes on the stereo on que. All I got today was a spare 13ah battery. Better than nothing I reckon.

I've watched the unboxing videos, and the battery is also in the same box as the bike.

Here's mine, just got through putting it together, and a 3.5 mile test ride
. WOW! I never imagined it would be so fun. I even got some good peddling in also. The PSA level 3 is all I needed for a hill that would normally be super hard for me. This thing is about to open my world up a bit.

I had covid, so bike riding became a chore. I got an ebike (or 3), plus some meds for breathing from the doc, and I've almost doubled the distance I tend to ride when I head out. I've found it's so much fun to know that if I'm getting too winded on the return home all I need to do is go a little higher on the pedal assist. 10 miles average to 15+ miles per ride. I love the freedom it gives me back.

Anyways, enough bs about myself. I'm just happy to see you've gotten your new ride and that you're enjoying it! Welcome to the eBike Club!

PS: She's a smexy beast!!!

That Rubbee looks like a nice e friction drive unit, I have a 3HP 2 stroke gas friction drive, very little to go wrong with it and it flies, just too noisy.

Boones lake in the background. This is my test area. Nice and quiet. Steep coming back home though. I'm really enjoying this bike.

Surly LHT with Tong Shen TSDZ2 750 watt motor and 52V, 21AH battery. I took this on a 280 mile tour in Utah mountains.

Kool! How many miles did you get per charge? I use to tour with a trailer before electric help.
I currently have a MX3 LT 80 with 500w mid-drive @ 36v with a 8ah battery. I look forward to adding more ah's and getting out there!

My battery is 52V, 21 ah. I get 70 miles reliably in mountain riding with multiple climbs 5%-9%. After two tours, I have learned a lot about riding technique with e-assist and how to conserve power. I think if I repeated the tours, I would be able to get 80 miles. I have a newly completed bike I will post in a few days.
