Having trouble finding replacement chainring for Shimano 52B

Hello all. I've got a 9-speed road bike that need new chainrings. I'm looking for a 44t large ring to replace the 52B that is on there (all Shimano components). I'm having a surprisingly difficult time finding what model(s) I can use. The cranks are Shimano 600, which have a 5-hole pattern and a 130mm BCD. I'd rather stay with alloy rather than aluminum or other softer metals.

If someone can clue me in to what chainring models are options, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I am not sure that you can get a 44 tooth chain ring on a 130 mm bolt circle. You might need a 110 mm bolt circle for a 44 tooth chain ring.

Maybe I’m wrong. This page on the TA website seems to list a 46t chainring for a 130 bolt circle. It’s in French, bon chance!

I've seen 42t sprockets with a 130mm BCD, so it's possible. For whatever reason, I couldn't find the right word combinations to get results on my search last night, but did to day with "44t chainring 130bcd"

Standard issue for a 130 mm Shimano or Campagnolo BCD is 39t.

Here, I found a Shimano-compatible 44 dts for aliz intermediare. https://specialites-ta.com/triple/12...denture,44-dts

Alize intermediare should have the ramps to lift the chain off of whatever you have on the inside.

Common chainrings exist between 38 and 53 tooth in 130 BCD. If you type in 130 BCD 44T, you will find many results. Are you trying to run this as a 1X or 2X? I guess a 38 / 44 T combination might be interesting.

I have a 34t small and now have a 42t large ring for my 2x bike. Definitely closer spacing than I had before with a 53t large, but should be better for me. Being on flat ground, I'm looking forward to the closer spacing, although I'll miss the top speed when I'm mashing. That's such a small amount of the time that it doesn't really matter. Probably better for my aging knees anyway.
