120 hub 110 rear spacing

Looking at getting a NJS frame with 110 rear spacing but want to use a 120 hub. Will this work without having to cold set the frame to 120? I know someone on this forum has tried.

testertips all you have to do is change the spacers and the axle . Or just cut the axle down .

It depends on the design of the hub. You might be able to swap out the locknuts for thinner ones. Can you show pics and describe the hub?

The hub is a DA-HB 7600 fixed/fixed, but I put that potential project to bed. On to a new project that includes gears.
