golden motor max voltage ?

hi i have a 1000watt 48v golden motor whats the most voltage anyone has used without blowing it please ? regards to all rob

Great motors untill the gears strip out. Usualy happens in no time. Not a daily rider. The second most common problem when over volting a golden motor is the inner workings of the motor coming loose. Glue is no way to build any motor.

i would agree when i rewound my gm there was little to no lacquer on the winds.
