I knew I had some Phillipe bars but I'm sure this isn't the style you need.

Force I do have a pair of Franco Italia drop bars, these are 40cm and per my digital calipers the clamp dia. is 25.27mm. If these sound like the ticket, PM me. I just happen to have a perfect box to ship them.

Bumping me search for a spring for my Huret Eco RD.

Top photo shows my RD and bottom shows actual spring Ineed.

** It will take pretty much any spring from any Sach Huret RD as they were all very similar

I have quite a number of these RD. I don't often check this thread. I may need to dig to find a mech that's "parts worthy" but definitely have something.

In search of a Rivendell Silver thumb shifter mount. What Riv calls 'shifter mount X' - to mount a shifter on the outside of the left side of the handlebar or inside of the right side of the handlebar. Anyone got one? Thanks!

francophile Thank you and please look. It seems a shame to have a potentially good bike sit for want of a single spring. Wasn't there something about how for want of a nail........

FWIW, and my apologies if you already knew this: Rivendell apparently still lists them (or a similar item) for sale, but they're currently out of stock. However, they offered a "stock alert" option when I visited the following link, so I don't think they've discontinued selling them permanently.

https://www.rivbike.com/products/kjalgjoihjga44451

Not exactly cheap, but also don't seem particularly exorbitant either.

Won't help much right now, but might be a future option if you can't find what you're looking for on this forum or elsewhere.

Yep, I'd totally just order a new one from them if they were in stock. But I'm hoping to get this build going ASAP and it's an old bike with a hodge podge of parts so I figured I might try to find a used one from someone. Thanks though!

You're welcome. Just wanted to post that link in case you hadn't seen the current Rivendell listing for them and perhaps thought they'd been discontinued.

Best of luck in finding one quickly.

ISO a Dura-Ace BR-7400 brake cable barrel adjuster. Sorry I can't post a photo of it since I'm still in "newbie" status. You can see a nice photo in Velobase.com by searching Shimano BR-7402, Dura-Ace 7400. Thanks in advance.

Maillard Helicomatic Fans?

Hi folks,
I have a 700c wheel set with 36 hole Maillard Helicomatic hubs laced to narrow rims. The oval decals on the rims have faded & the brand/model is unreadable. Spokes may not be SS since there is a bit of discoloration on them. They are available for the cost of shipping. It shipping the wheels is not cost effective, I can cut the spokes out & just send the hubs.
Cheers,

Van

Senior Ryder,
Break those rims down carefully by reducing spoke tension before cutting the spokes. The rims are the most valuable part of those wheels! Smiles, MH

Are those Rigida rims? Are you saying they are valuable, or that the hubs are not...?

ISO Rider quality Shimano 130 BCD crank arms

Hi folks,
I'm looking for a set of 170 mm Shimano crank arms with a 130 BCD. I would prefer 105 or 600 models in silver, but would consider any model with that BCD & length.
What I would like to trade is a scruffy Dura-Ace FC 7400 Date code JD with 175mm arms, but have other stuff. The NDS arm is scratched around the label & the DS arm has dings in the spider area. Threads & tapers are good. See pix for details.
These will be going on a franken build based on a PDG Series1 (Panasonic) Paramount frame. Cosmetics will have to take a back seat to functionality.

Thanks & regards,
Van
