The big thing Vlasov has against him is that he's on my team. That puts him in a pickle. I'd go with Benoot, except he's on the team that I changed everything around to but didn't press submit. As was Roglic. That still may be enough to curse them.
Dare I say a little Astana 1-2 punch from Lutsenko costs both me and ooga-booga some points and pride? I hope Gaudu doesn't rain on that beautiful pity party.

Meanwhile, in northern Italy, Caleb Ewan stands head and shoulders above the rest of the sprint field (metaphorically speaking) so unless there is carnage in the long run up, he's got it.
Merlier might give him a run for his money, but he's on my team. Sorry, Tim. Ballerini, too. Which gives Hodeg an outside shot.

MvdP still has a little to learn about positioning but still not too shabby 7th for me, with Wout on top.

tirreno-adriatico stage two-gva was the first name that popped into the noggin so i'll go with him but thinking mvdp should win it.

GrainBrain on top in Tirreno-Adriatico and one4smoke is crushing it in the race to the sun. Where, and I don't mean to brag, I've made it into the top 4,000 thank you very much.

no such luck with thomas. primoz is channeling his inner cannibal, apparently, after last year’s little last moment tdf imbroglio...does not bode well for the rest of the boys. hindley finished with the first group so that’s promising.
mvdp just missed out the day before and comes back to win today. i’ll gladly take that acorn.

Teams didn't really play a role in the sprint, but his win today *sort of* looked like a bunch sprint. OTOH, I think the real story is that van Aert screwed himself by bringing back that late attack, and didn't have enough gas to compete at the line.

Chapeau, one4smoke , in the race to the sun.
You left me in the shade but somehow I still finished squarely in the top 4,000, negligibly above 50% of your commanding score, and ahead of ooga-booga , so I think we both did pretty damn good.
Love the rest of youse folks, too.
We continue to plod toward the Adriatic and an obscure Superclasico race. The season is young. Row well and live.

Well here we are, SuperClasico fans, fast approaching that highlight of the cycling season, the one everyone has been waiting for, the 76th running of the epic Danilith Nokere Koerse between those cycling mad, happening hot spots of Deinze and Nokere.
For some reason, it didn't get the top billing it usually does on the typical websites but you can still find some info at ProCyclingStats.com. Filter for Europe Tour and 1.Pro.
I think there's another little race this weekend, too.

... On to T-N I'm hoping for a good result from the likes of Alex Howes and especially Craddock, they've been quiet while the GC gents have been duking it out. Will be interested to see how MvdP does after emptying it out earlier ...
... Hmm Caleb Ewan abandoned P-N with "GI" problems to focus on M-SR, will this help or hinder his performance ...
