Campy shift lever covers on a budget?

Campy shift lever covers on a budget?
Those blue rubber covers for Campagnolo Record down tube shifters are shown for $49 on ebay. Is there a low cost - but still good looking - alternative to cover those 1960s-70s shift levers? I had the Campy covers on my now-gone Galmozzi years ago and they did make grasping and shifting a lot easier.
Would like something for a new-to-me bike that has those levers.

Rampinelli (REG) and Arregui (ZEUS) did covers which fit just fine.
In Rampinelli there are something like four to six colours. The have a dimple for the thumb.
Arregui had early and late type, early type resembles a cough lozenge and late type has a waffle pattern.
Six or eight colours were offered through the years.
Freres Huret made them in natural rubber - an off-white colour, but the opening is a bit small to accept a Campag or Zeus lever. Might be difficult to mount without tearing.

Thanks for all those great suggestions and info! I did buy those on ebay that randyjawa pointed out. They're for a Raleigh Competition ca. 1973 that I found locally by chance just last week. It's not cosmetically good, but its ride is reminiscent of my long-ago-stolen ca. 1974 Holdsworth Super Mistral, and I haven't been this thrilled by a bike for a good long while.

I did find a budget solution: 5/16" I. D. fuel line. It works very well and is very secure. I'll leave it on until the ebay real Campy covers arrive. Maybe even longer.
