ISO D-5S / 70x124.5 Spindle
I am trying to finish off my Gitane Grantour but one of the last parts continues to elude me - a proper-fitting spindle for the Sugino AT I've got on there. The fixed cup is deeply bonded to the frame, so I'm doing a cup mix & match + using an italian-length spindle to account for the thin stronglight cup that's in there now. Regardless - what I'm looking for is a 70mm x 124.5mm / 127.5mm JIS spindle - should be marked D-5S / D-5SS / D-5SP according to my copy of Sutherland's.
I have called most of the vintage dealers I can find, scoured the depths of ebay & every other internet source I know of, and cannot find one of these that is actively for sale - I've been on the hunt for over a month now.
There are a couple 5S spindles available on ebay, but they're nutted and I really want one that takes bolts - which is apparently the 'D-' prefix in the naming scheme. If anyone has one of these knocking around in a bin I would love to take it off your hands!

Are you certain that you need a spindle for a 70mm shell for this? Stronglight used the same spindle for both 68 and 70mm shells, and used a thicker cup on 68mm shells to make up the difference. That would mean using a non-Stronglight spindle for a 70mm shell would be the opposite of what you need. For a nice Sugino AT triple crank, I'd forgo a Maxy-type studded spindle and look for a Mighty triple bolt-type spindle marked "MT-68"

The rare thing here really is the D prefix / bolt-style. I have a spindle that should work length wise in the mail, but I want to use my cool brass auto-extractor caps too.
