How to (hypothetically) paint a crosswalk
My town is fairly reasonable about crosswalks, but not every town is. Mind you, this article is for entertainment purposes only. Honest.

that's fun. last year? I learned drivers need to stop for pedestrians "approaching" crosswalks. I believe this if for crosswalks that don't have a traffic light

How about a neon sign with, as Douglas Adams puts it "Large, Friendly letters" surrounded by disco lights and says, "Hey, A-holes, there's a crosswalk here."
Nah, wouldn't help. They've tried something like that here in the Atlanta area. Motorists still blow through it like it's the last lap at Talladega.

A double light, first one put within reasonable stopping distance of the second (official & final) light to designate the traffic light status of the second light's signal. If you motor on past both on red, that would be a clear ticket served of reason. The issue would be the space to put those is likely limited in some time areas of the city/town.

L.A.'s Crosswalk Collective has published a how-to guide. For educational purposes only, of course.

If you are going to vandalize the car culture's territory with paint, go all the way.https://images.search.yahoo.com/sear...fp&fr2=piv-web
