Don’t underestimate the gap.

Arm meets wooden fence rail = flying W.

Don’t worry bike is fine.

Now if you were riding a red bike (faster and more nimble), maybe this wouldn't have happened.

Glad you *seem* to be ok.

My helmet was red so was the cap on my bottle and some red pin stripes on the bike.

Guess that was not enough.

That looks like a nasty cut. I think clean cuts heal better and aren't as painful during healing. Hope you heal up well.

It’s only the top layer of skin peeled back, 70 year old thin skin sucks. It’s the 2 holes in my right calf that really hurts.

Didn't notice the wooden fence rail sticking out a foot past the fence post. It was a nice endo leveraging off my forearm.

Glad you can come on here and share.
It's getting to the point that any minor mishaps I can keep secret I do just so I do not have to hear how dangerous cycling is.

Thank God the bike is fine. I was concerned for a moment. I appreciate you letting us know it is okay.

Oh, sorry about your arm. I hope it heals fast. It sucks, but it could have been worse.

Not paying closer attention was dangerous. Wifey had fun cleaning it up, she laughed so no problems on the home front.

Glad that your wife is in good spirits about the whole thing. I took a spill last fall which broke a bone in my hand, and my wife is still nervous about me riding.

Had to look up the meaning of ‘flying w’ in the urban dictionary, and don’t believe you were implying the definition. So what is your definition?

Have done a few ‘over the bars’ on my mtb but that’s what we called it. We were simpler back then

Your arm looks a little bad. I hope he gets better soon.

Therefore, in the process of riding in the future, we should pay attention to the road ahead to avoid accidents.

I was cycling in NC just last month (Blue Ridge Mtns near Boone). You must be a beast, there's no way I could handle the NC hills with that gearing.

Or, it's flatter where you ride. MUCH flatter.
