Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Think I may have posted this a while back in the "Today I:" thread. Love fooling around with my GoPro. Time lapse ride to local brewpub set to one of my favorite songs of all time.

Insulated leather work gloves = $5 and nice and warm for the 40F ride home. Swapped bars minutes before heading out, grabbed random chunk of housing and random cable, hooked it up, coiled and taped the extra and went for a ride. No use cutting a perfectly good cable to try out some different bars.

Practical choices, I see the work gloves thing referenced on the Landlords site all the time. Have to dig my pairs out of storage and give it a go once it gets really cold out.

ITP I'm just going to spam videos from Prolly, because I think they look cool.

and perfectly acceptable reasoning, though id opt for some "cooler" gloves

also: red hook crit vid was cool, loved that gangster old man at the start of the race

Timed State Championships

I had a rubbish kilo (extremely poor start) but I got third in the pursuit in the open category. The team sprints were just for fun.

I have the white sleeves with white Air Attack helmet.
