First ride on the xmas schwalbe big apples. I love the feel so far, and I like the reflective strip. I went out to a short loop trail that follows the coast. It was muddy and the sun had already gone down but I was itching for some fresh air and a head change. After I got home I told my housemates that I projectile shat myself.

Pink Shogun Selectra
Hi, I've been using bikeforums forever to look up stuff about bikes with anonymity instead of going to the LBS and feeling like an idiot. Figure I'd show you what bikeforums has done to help me convert, with ZERO LBS help (other than buying parts).
My friend was having serious problems repairing this bike, and with a little internet help and some critical thinking I got it ready to ride.
This is an 88 Shogun Selectra, Tange Infinity, mainly wanted to fix it up for its flashy color, and also because even there is little information on this brand and close to no information on the model, ive read that it's a fair quality. It's a good frame size for me and, yeah, hauls my ass pretty efficiently.
Anyway, nothing too fancy, just flashy and definitely a beater but couldnt have done it without this forum. I worked hard to get everything just right and have learned the ins and outs of basic bike functioning, so it was a journey. I love fixed riding and maintenance.Totally worth showing off, IMO.
Ill be riding 2013 in style.

Your bars are angled funky.

I would say the saddle angle is funkier than the bar angle. Otherwise, congratulatins on the build. Nice looking beater. Ride on.
