I hate for my first post here to be such a brag, but here you go. New seatpost binder bolt, crafted out of metal.

scrod is going to lose his mind because it came from Superb, but where else can you get a set of 75s with a ring for 250(I suspect this had a lot to do with the fact that no one wants a garish gold crankset except me). I had to. Also, gold.

That's ridiculous. Filing pedal slots takes less than 5 minutes and laminated straps last 20 times as long as regular leather straps.

I just ordered some black Archetype's laced to black Formula hubs. Does that make me a cool kid now?

Also, got a Miche (Dicta) Black freewheel.... When it comes to freewheels, this Black is pretty metal...

It did, until you bought a Dicta freewheel. Those things should only be used as paperweights.

That's what came stock on my two BD bikes. Never used them, so I guess I really can't say anything about them one way or another.

I have a White Eno on my Salsa Casseroll. It's soooo much nicer than the stock Shimano. The Shimano used to go clanketta clanketta clanketta and take about a 1/4 revolution to engage. The Eno engages immediately and is noiseless when I'm cranking on it. Also, it's made in the USA, baby !

I never understood the clanking in Shimano freewheels. It would be nice if they charged just a bit more for a nicer piece.

I think the plan will be to ride the Dicta until it gets ugly and in the meantime save money for the White. So they really are worth it then?
