Patch for tubeless
Grateful if anybody can assist:
I got 2 deep scratches on a road bike tubeless tire: the rubber was "cut" and abraded up to the fabric. Although the fabric seems to be ok, I would like to enforce the tire with an internal patch. however, I can not find special tubeless internal patches in my region.
The question is: would a normal patch (for tubes) do the job for a tubeless as well?

My initial thought was radial tire patches.
Use a good vulcanizing compound, let it dry & apply. They're like tube patches but way tougher. Probably way overkill if the threads of the casing are undamaged. Think of it like a permanent Park Tool tire boot.
If you have any Shoo-Goo around you might just seal up the cut rubber from the outside. It'd be easier & cheaper.

I've been using regular Rema patches inside my tubeless tires for years. I wouldn't use them for a structural repair, but they work great to cover the holes that required a plug. Any tire that has a cut large enough to warrant a fabric patch goes in the trash.
