Bob Jackson Track Frame - Reynolds 853, Chromed Drops and Fork, Arrowhead Lugs...

Had this beauty built custom from Bob Jackson in the early 00's. Never saw too many miles as I moved away from track bikes into more mountain biking. Can't remember exactly what it cost, somewhere around $800 or so. Still in great shape other than some minor cosmetic details- a small paint chip on the top seat tube lug and a bit of one logo sticker missing. My crappy phone pictures don't really do this frame justice, especially the slightly pearlescent paint!
No brake holes front or rear.

I'm selling for $500.
Comes as pictured with the Chris King headset and Campy Record bottom bracket.
Pick up in NYC preferable, anyone local is welcome to stop by and check it out in person, PM me.

NOTE- custom geometry. I have a slightly longer torso and shorter legs than your average 6' tall person.

seat tube - 20"
top tube - 22.5"
all measurements c-c

You sure you got that measurement right? Even custom that seems pretty long for how short it is (51cm x 57cm)

That frame looks really long and low to me. Also, the part about short legs/long torso leads me to believe he knows the measurements of the frame he had custom built.

Those are indeed the real measurements.
I guess that will make it much harder to sell, but hopefully somewhere there's a short-legged, long torso track rider who is going to get a sweet deal

BITD, UCI enforced a minimum "front-center" distance (measured from center of BB to center of front wheel axle) on frames used in UCI sanctioned events. We (Trek) had to rebuild a number of track frames for the 1984 Women's National team when they went to the World competition because the front-center was too short on the frames for the smaller team members. The re-built frames met UCI's arbitrary requirement, but didn't really fit the riders like the first ones we built for them. Perhaps this Jackson is a victim of this rule as well?

I think this rule has been changed since then, though; 1984 after all was the first year women were allowed to compete in the Olympics' cycling events.

What is your inseam?
56 TT with 50cm seat tube.
Curious as my leggs are short for 5'11 guy 30 inseam but ride 56 bike longer torso. My brother is same height but 34 in inseam
Bike may fit me.

Thank the Lord Xenu that bike is too small. I want it bad. A BJ with a CK...quite nice! It is one real sexy machine.
