I really think it's the faux sales thing that is putting people off.
I can't figure out if the OP either thinks they aren't a troll, or they think they wouldn't get nasty response to trolling. I think both are pretty obvious.

Looks like the same bike with half the paint removed, the front derailer completely borked from the correct position it was in before, and some kind of haze over the previously OK rear chrome.

I'll give you $3.50 for it.

Troll hunter

I can be whatever you want me to be
I find it amusing that you are wasting your time on someone so below you. We all start somewhere. I'm no threat to your operation . Competition is healthy.

pick this one apart if you want

Looks like you already did. Poor thing.

We're not all flippers.

There's nothing healthy about frustrating others for self amusement, which you finally admitted to. Perhaps you should see a professional about that.

Just looking for people to share ideas, problems, fixes and experiences with.
Really didn't expect to be a target of such animosity, but hell if that's the way senior members act I'll take it as some form of initiation. On the whole most of the interactions I've had with other members have been very helpful and positive. Sticks and stones

Then I would suggest that you ask questions when you need help, post answers to questions that others ask, etc.

Many of us are passionate about this hobby. You posting things like your CL Garlatti for $595 conversation, or saying "pick this one apart if you want", is taken as an insult to that passion. So, I suggest stopping with the troll posts.

You trolled people on CL, came here and bragged about it. How should we react, with awe?

Then why don't you do that?

this has got sickening. What was originally posted for a laugh.
that's the noise you make in the back of your throat when something tickles you,
has become some sort of monster.
my bikes, my options, if I wanted to test the S.F. market in the grips of Cvd19. Well that's my prerogative..
My mistake posting what I I thought was a funny response to my add.
Of course I have to remember my sense of humor is extremely English and so I should have prefaced with a "Ha ,Ha"
the whole troll thing seems pretty much arbitrary on who wants to point the finger
