Looks like a pretty cool, versatile bike in pretty good shape.

I was there this morning and came to a similar but unsure conclusion ;-). I had meager hopes it would morph into a T or ST series!

From the Ad:
This is not adorned with original components as they wore out years ago. Instead I've installed the following over the years to improve the ride and function of the bike:

Shimano RX 100 left brake lever/shifter
Shimano RSX right side brake/lever shifter (7-speed)
Shimano Tiagra crankset
Shimano 12-28 hyperglide freehub
Shimano 105 short-reach brakes
Shimano 105 hubs laced to mismatched wheels (note below)
Rear wheel - Alex AT 450
Front wheel - Campagnolo Gamma
Michelin Pro 4 Endurance tires (700x25)
Shimano 105 Front Derailleur
Generic Shimano SIS Rear Derailleur
Nitto Technomic high rise quill stem (I still have the original if interested)
Blackburn crossrack rear rack attached with "P" clamps
Generic platform pedals for commuting (though I have some older Shimano SPDs that you can have if desired)
Brand new handlebar tape

I don't recognize the model, perhaps one of the Bianchi experts would. Looks mid-level to me from here.

The Milan bike shop sticker is cool and consistent with it being an import.
I saw that one too on the FC CL. Could ask them for a close up on the tubing sticker (looks like there is one, but not familiar enough from a distance for me at least). Interesting that it seems to have a drillium chainring, I'm curious enough, I guess I'll ask and see what they say!
Edit: Asked via email and they told me to come check it out. Oh well.

That was on Auction a while back. Clean frame. I wish it was just the frame. I have all the original parts for it. The search continues!

The "gruppo" is a dog's breakfast. Mismatched shifters, mismatched rims, mismatched derailleurs, I'm surprised it has matched pedals.

Well it allegedly came from Italy so there is no telling what model it is. The pics are terrible but it looks like everything but the shifters are low rent parts.

I was gonna post this regardless of component level because of the cool half-chrome, half yellow & teal fade paint job, but luckily to sweeten the deal it's got XT. First time ever seeing the brand. This thread didn't have any real info either: https://www.bikeforums.net/mountain-...gna-bikes.html

There's a Ross Mt Hood up for sale here in D.C. A bit rough around the edges, all original, and what I'd consider top of market at $250.
Standard disclosure that I would usually be willing to facilitate, but not at this time.

Probably nothing special, but the orange is pretty and the white head tube highlights the fancy lugs. Begging for some sort of Rivendell treatment.

I own one of those in the same year. If I had to keep only one road bike, that would be my pick. The Brits who designed those frames were geniuses. That one looks like it's running the original 27" wheels, I run 700c wheels on mine and can (just barely) clear 38 mm tires. These make great gravel bikes, and they do quite well on the road too.

Yeah... I know the chrome Ross bikes have a following (I have one) but that seems like super optimistic pricing. Although, I guess you never know what will come up - I once posted a mid '80's Haro freestyle BMX on craigslist for $750, and ended up trading straight across for the Alpine with full Campagnolo N.R.

The price is explained by their inclusion of a cursed Budget Bicycle Center screenshot of an ad for almost 3K. The worst thing about these ads is that since they'll never sell, they'll always be up online for potential sellers to google and be led astray. The markup is so astronomical that even a 1/3 reduction results in a comical price.

Nishiki Beta Road Bike - $100 (somerville)

Selling my vintage nishiki. This bike is in excellent condition except for the fact that the right shifter does not work. Not sure if it needs replacing or just repair but otherwise the bike is nice. Includes look pedals, and the tri bars, bag and computer. And the paint job is awesome! This bike is ridable now for sure but you may want to get the shifing tuned up at reasonable cost. This is a 56cm frame so should fit you for people around 6 foot tall.
