Love that bike! I had to replace that seat because of that rise in the back.

Yeah its really nice. Did you replace the seat because of lower back pain? I ask because ive been getting that on long rides lately.

I had back pain in general mostly upper back but no longer an issue with this sit up ride. That hump on the back of the saddle just felt odd regardless how I adjusted it.

No, you can tell by looking at the bottom bracket on both bikes to compare. The Electra/Townies have their BB moved forward about 2-3". Top one looks like it has a laid back seat post though.

same boat here... looking to add another cruiser, but my search is a little harder..... trying to find a much older cruiser (preferrably from the 30s/40s, maybe 50s) in rough shape to restore and ride

Since its the first right place i've found on the web to gather info - its time to show my bike.
Absolutely in love with my brand new Drag Boulevard 2014. Anyway - it's the only factory classic looking cruiser available in my country and the support is easy and fast - i hope I am a newbie and really count on it - dont even want to remove the fenders.

Thought I would add my wife's 1962 Schwinn that I put together for her. 5 minutes of riding and got compliments from some local bicycle club members.
