Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oof. Puck Moonen kicks my ass in w/kg. And if she meets her offseason goals, she'll be right on top of me in plain ol' watts.

It's been a part of legal correspondence in Colorado for a couple years. It's Texas.

100% accurate, in my experience. If she wants advice/input, she will ask for it. Otherwise, she just wants someone to listen to vent to...and get her wine.

This is what my wife told me. But she doesn't do as she tells me to.

My Y hoops team has started up again. Kids on the team have been getting vaccinated immediately after turning 12, so we'll have a mix. I recruited one of my son's friends. He's from Ethiopia, 5'6", size 9 men's shoes, hands as big as mine, and 11. Never played any basketball and is nervous, which is perfect.

We have a wine cellar and a fully-stocked liquor cabinet, so we're all set.

Yeah, she's really liked the whole sparkling-in-a-can trend. She's also a light drinker, so being able to pop one and let the others sit 'til whenever is nice. My LLS didn't have cans in the cooler, though, so a bottle this time around. Maybe Costco will have some cans again when we make a trip later this week.

Unfortunately, my alcohol consumption is like a goldfish that grows to the size of the aquarium it's in; better to keep the stock lowish.

Our President is building s high speed rail project across the southeast part of the country. It passes within a stone's throw of the house. Every couple days we're treated to an explosion off in the near distance. I can't be sure if I'm feeling it in the air only, or in the ground too. I haven't heard of any houses falling down yet.
I've had to change up my routes to avoid the parades of dump trucks.

My bil is a breakthrough case. He got vaxxed, and then took few, if any, precautions. They offered him regereron, which he accepted, and is doing fine now, two weeks later. And should be immune, no?
Or moreso anyway.

My sig line says GFY because that's how I feel 99% of the time. Ok, it might only be 98.573% of the time.

Back in my homesteading days, I listened to Phil on the cassette player and the Reds on the transistor radio while out clearing the land. Good times.
