Hi from Malmö Sweden
Hi, new bike enthusiast here! I have been renovating and restoring and rebuilding old bikes for a while now. Some old swedish bikes from the 1940s, a few cannondales and peugeots along the way. Have even sold a few. I have been thinking of getting into riding more, road bikes specifically. Any beginner tips on getting into it?

Hey.
If you want to ride with other people look for a group that rides together. Your local bike shop might have people in mind.
Something that helped me was to think about the various areas within 300 miles of where I live & what routes I thought would be nice to travel at a bike's pace through. Then make it happen. Start off easier & funner. Camp if you want. Whatever you like. A computer on the handlebars made it funner for me to keep track of mileage, then break my own records going farther, faster, etc.

Welcome from neighbouring Denmark Zrocks! I will probably annoy you with questions as I'm working on an old Phillips roadster at the moment.
