When I was working at Cornell, we were talking with the new grad students in the department about the things we liked about living in Ithaca. Ithaca has SCADS of fireflies, aka lightning bugs. Roundup (multiple varieties), Amdro, tetrathiazide, Spartan (for skeeters), skeeter dunks, Image, etc., etc., etc. Plus, a bunch of other stuff that you can't buy at Home Depot to keep the skeeters away.

I wondered what happened to Sagan, didn't see him in the results when I looked briefly. Today I saw that he finished in 63rd and it was his first time at a gravel event. Also, he has had a number of physical issues including covid twice and hasn't spent much time on the bike this year. I think he still hopes to do the Tour, however.
