Puncture resistant tires for 20”
I have a bike Friday with Alex rims DA22, etrto 451x14. They currently have primo slicks on them. What would be the most puncture resistant tire for these rims? I don’t care that much about more weight. I hate fixing flats!

I have 406 wheels, but fwi, I'm running the 100psi Swalbe Marathon tyres. These roll well and are very puncture resistant.

Any tire becomes more puncture resistant with tire liners, like Mr. Tuffy's, Rhinodillos, Slime Liners, etc. Been using them for decades on my bikes. I get to run supple tires and still have protection.

I've been using Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires in Chicago for 10+ years without a puncture.

That's the problem: none of these touring tires exists in ETRTO451.
In the list of ETRTO451 tires of Modern Bike, the best option is probably the Panaracer Minits Tough which is the stronger version of the MInits Lite PT (a road race training tire comparable to the discontinued Schwalbe Durano and its successor the new Schwalbe One).

Since we are on the subject of 451 tires. What would be a good choice for daily commuting. Obviously speed is not the most important criteria but rather comfort, puncture resistance and grip under various conditions (ie rain, gravel).

For certain types of brakes, there are solutions that extend your brakes to the 406 rim size. You would of course have to get the new rims, too. What brake types does your Bike Friday facilitate?

If the bike uses rim brakes, moving from ETRTO451 to ETRTO406 means that the brake pads should be lowered by 22.5mm, that's a lot.
I doubt its possible and anyway increasing the brake arm length bu 22.5mm will have a negative impact on braking power.
If there are road brake calipers, they also limit the tire width to 28mm for most of them.
A solution could be to change the brake calipers for long reach calipers (there are still some models available).
