Record temperature graph swimming?

I'm doing a lot of after work and weekend swims lately. Summer will be over in a few weeks. There are a handful lakes I'm using, and different beaches on those lakes. How warm or cold the water is depends on a lot of things like how quickly it gets deep, how much sun an area gets, and the currents.

My watch (Fenix 7) doesn't record temperature during open water swim. I want this information to be easily available next spring when it's just starting to get warm enough to swim.

Can anybody recommend anything? I know how to code a data field for this but I'd rather find an easier solution.
