Yep fun times. I’m pretty sure it was 100 % C&V Campy on Sunday. Usually there is some misc. One rider suggested that the modern bikes were in the shop getting repaired.

I need more info on that gold Raleigh…circus bike. That’s a sweet frame, but that bar and saddle set up are amazing.
The legs standing next to that bike don't look nearly long enough to pedal that thing.

That Raleigh is a Retirement gift put together by the rider on the other SDBU Raleigh (in a slightly different shade of gold) and the retiree's wife. Gorgeous paint by Joe Bell. The stem is partially painted so it doesn't look too tall. Names?

Does anyone know if there will be any parking restrictions at the Rose Bowl or any road closures as a result of the Rose Bowl game and festivities? With the ride being the day after the game, I am wondering if there will be any issues with parking.
thanks!

I remember a few years ago the ride and game fell on a Sunday where parking near the aquatic center was only for the center attendees but parking staff didn't really verify so I was able to park.
Parking Sunday should be back to normal.

We had a pretty good tunout for todays ride.About 15 riders were out in force enjoying the perfect Southern California cycling weather. Chuck was there at the start and in good spirits , he is awaiting the word on his upcoming hip surgery, so he didnt join in on the Velo Retro ride this month. Good Luck buddy.
Here are a few photos of some of the bikes in attendance,( sorry , there were a few bikes that I didnt get pics of).

Alot of riders turned up for this overcast and very cool Vintage Ride , which was great considering next week its supposed to be in the mid 90's.
April 3rd today , and about 27 days away from L' Eroica , which meant there was plenty of discussion concerning bicycle gear , accommodations and last minute attendees to the ride up in Cambria . Good to see more local Rose Bowl riders attending L'Eroica in a few weeks.
Chuck was there to see eveyone off , and we had several New riders join in on the Ride . As usual they were very friendly and happy to be in the company of other Vintage Bike enthusiast and We were glad to have them join in on the Sunday Funday. Lots of Smiles all around.

Some full bike photos that I was able to get a few pictures of. Salvatore's Tommassini was pretty spectacular. As well as the Masi's and the Bob Jackson. Scotts Blingged Out Gold lNishiki was something rare indeed.
