Can't Dial In

On the way to the office, (today) I had a heck of of time, "Dialing In". Normally I love the riding to and from work. Today, not so. I don't know why. Everything is going good and I have nothing to complain about. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Heavy phone traffic. Sometimes you're on hold for a long time.

I think it's just human nature. Even the pro athletes have off days, so if they can't maintain 100%, don't knock yourself out if you can't. (I certainly can't.)

Yes. If I can I will scoot over a street or two for a change of scenery which sometimes helps.

Yep it happens. Sometimes your body is telling you it needs a break, sometimes your mind. I had one today too, riding 5 miles just about killed me for no apparent reason. Ah well.

yup, good days & others, not-so-much. same with weight training, running & swimming. often remind myself to "just get my reps in". then every once in a while, I'm on fire & I don't even know whose legs I have, a heartening surprise. when I bike commuted, aside from my usual planned & timed nutrition, I usually had a small box of raisins as I went out the door

Some of the best rides I've had started out that way. Weird.
