Casual rider that stumbled onto the forums trying to make sense of all the terminology/tech/gear of modern riding.
Like many my age i rode daily as a kid up until i got my driver's license then proceeded to go almost 30 years w/out riding a bike. That ended when i started riding around the neighborhood/local greenway w/ a toddler aged family member. I ended up riding an 80s era Schwinn ladies beach cruiser that happened to be in the garage for almost 3 years until i got the bug to get a proper bike of my own and that's how i ended up here. TL: DR that story ended w/ a Specialized Roll 3.0.
May or may not actively interact w/ the community much but ill definitely be the guy searching the forums for terms everyone uses w/out a thought, spent days till i finally bothered looking up what a MUP was lol.

Just north of you, ive actually spent a lot of time in Galveston and the surrounding areas over the years. Crystal Beach in the summers and the strand during Mardi Gras as a young man to wade/boat fishing and friend's beach house on the west end of the island as ive gotten older.
