I've gained almost a half inch. I've had other family members also increase a quarter to half inch, roughly in their 50s. Though, for me I suspect that'll change in the next ten years, as I approach decrepitude. Time will tell. (It's beginning to tell on me more frequently, as birthdays are accumulated. Funny how that works.)

I need to check my height during my annual physical this week. Officially I'm 5'11.75" -- never quite made it to six feet, making me the second shortest male in my family (although taller than one uncle). Most men in my family are 6'2" or taller.
But at age 65 with spinal arthritis and stenosis I've almost certainly lost some height. I'd be surprised if I'm above 5'10" now.

1/2-3/4" shorter at age 59. Depends when I get measured. I read a NASA article that claims we are our tallest (by about 1/4") in the morning.

I haven't lost height. I've just misplaced about 19mm of it. I know if I had that amount surgically restored, that missing height would appear the next day, then none of my clothes would fit.

There are always alternatives, like getting shot into space in a sealed chamber… your height should increase many inches when gravity isn’t compressing your discs in between your vertebrae. 😉

I would do that, but I really only like real riding, not swift or spin classes, so space presents some challenges.
I knew there was some shrinkage due to compressed cartilage, I'm just surprised the amounts people are reporting here.

If you you routinely engage in exercising, stretching and strengthening your back muscles that support your back bone, you will fare better - think of it as load-sharing scheme where you are actively engaging your muscles to help.
