Can you post some more photos of the whole frame?
The Pinarello stamped dropouts suggest later than '87. If the Cromor decal is original then that bumps it up to ~'89.
I've never seen Pinarello seat stay caps like that, which makes me wonder if it's a contract build, but I didn't think Pinarello did contract builds, so then I get confused.
The serial number seems to fit with early '90's examples when they went back to the early '80's format of letter and three numbers.

Maybe, need more photos.
The Cadore in the '89 (and '87) catalog has top tube cable guides, if I'm reading your initial post correctly, yours has internal cable routing.
It did in the '89 catalog, but nothing like the OP's.

I have no idea. I'm thinking it's maybe early 90's? Possibly an Asolo? But I'm just guessing really.
This Asolo has similar top tube cable routing - that's where the similarities end! Usually Pinarello's internal cable routing enters and exits through the top of the tube.

Is there a 'bird' motif on the head tube/down tube lug? And are there the same bird motifs either side of the brake bridge where it meets the seat stay?
Do you have the fork? Would be interesting to see what the fork crown is.
I assume there are down tube shifter bosses? Are there cable guides on the head tube?
I'm sure you know; the paint and decals aren't original, so we can't put too much faith in the Cromor decal.

Yes, I was wondering, if the paint scar on the DO could be a hint for this. Absolutely makes sense why the cable entry point is from side/below vs. their usual top-in / top-out.
Not a common bike at least I have not seen such beside this one, and another which had semi-open external cabling.
