Do you wear your cycling outfits when working out in a fitness center?

Some people work out in a fitness center to keep fit when the weather doesn't permit it.
Of these, some wear whatever clothing items they set aside to work out in (i.e. tee-shirts, sweat pants, shorts, etc.).

I tried wearing old cycling jerseys, spandex bicycling shorts or bibs that have seen better days. I found out that wearing these clothing items helped wick away the sweat rather than absorb it.

Have any of you tried this? What do you think? Please discuss.

I just wear shorts and Ts... although I did wear cycling shorts a couple of times while on a stationary bike... then I decided it was the stationary bike that sucked... not the clothing.

The only thing I do in a fitness center is ride a stationary bike. I prefer to wear a wicking shirt and the type of shorts depends on the type of bike seat (since I'll be sitting on it for an hour or more). I have also found that a stiffer soled shoe is more comfortable for me than many running style shoes.

I've never been in a fitness center. I don't need to go someplace special to exercise. A $30 dumbbell set and a chin-up bar is all I need besides my own body weight to maintain whatever level of fitness I want to get to.
