How do you get thin arms?
I'm already light with BMI of 19.6. However, I have relatively muscular arms from doing upper body gym work when I was much younger.
It seems no matter how little work I do with my arms, the muscle mass isn't getting less.

WTF would you want to loose lean muscle when you are already small and skinny at 125 pounds ??..Trying to preserve as much muscle as possible should be a priority especially as you're getting older.

Don't wish yourself less muscle. IMO, Muscle will help you keep from having to later write threads asking about new pains you are experiencing in your arms, shoulders, elbows and hands.
It's possible the bulk you see is fat much like the marbling of prime cuts of steak. And I don't think that type of fat is easy to get rid of. Or at least you don't have any real control of where your body loses fat.
Regardless of why, don't try to lose muscle. In my retired days of less work, I'm having a time trying to keep muscle.

But I hope you're right about marbling. At least fat is lighter than muscle and something I can use in long rides. Absolutely no issues with arms right now. No hand numbness and rides can get up to 6 hours without stopping (except for very short pee break). So I'll take your word for it that it's a good thing!

Trying to lose weight on my body without compromising my leg power. I look like a triathlete in my current form but I very rarely swim.

There's more to life than riding a bike. This question suggests a need for perspective.

All of the quick dry jackets I wear to ride has at least one pocket with zipper on them, convenient for holding cash or credit card or other valuables. I don't know if cycling jerseys have pockets with zippers on them.

No idea on that one, I never bring a wallet on rides! If anyone asks me to buy stuff for them on the road during a century ride, I put their money on my jacket pocket with the zipper on it. No way it will be blown away.

I know! The guy is a walking skeleton! He probably never did any workouts to his arm.
Out of all the muscles in my body, my arms, chest, and butt responds the most to workout in terms of getting bigger. It doesn't take much effort to increase their size in a short period of time. Lately, I've been doing some heavy lifting around the house, moving stuff around and my arms are starting to get too big (too big for a cyclist anyway)

I don't mean to be insensitive. I just happen to be huge fan of the many TdF legends where they generally have thin arms. For me, it looks good. Totally unaware many have the opposite goal in mind.

I would have to see your arms to know. You are already quite light weight. Unless you are built like Popeye, I would say not to obsess over it. The more long-distance endurance type stuff you do, the more your body will adapt to be as efficient at it as possible. Get proper nutrition, exercise, and rest. Let your body do the rest.

Nope, not for me. I have no friends, no family of my own. My mom is the only person in the world who'd go looking for me if I go missing! And I'm broke on top of it so even if I wanted to do something else like take my mom to the beach, I don't even have the gas money for the long drive and the cheap old car I have is falling apart! I do centuries on "crumbs" and not by choice.
I bet you now deeply regret making that post.

No problems there at all. Sometimes, the bike is loaded 45 lbs with fruits I bought during a century ride. I have no problem carrying it around as long as it doesn't involve steep flight of stairs!

For many it takes some effort beside exercise to cultivate big looking biceps or other muscles. Something like protein shakes and other stuff hawked at the gym to boost profits and visual results. Not saying that's bad. But I lifted with my skinny arms anything that others at work with big biceps lifted.
So maybe not a good idea to think that just because they have thin arms that they don't get plenty of exercise for the muscles in them.
