Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New digs for Zipp

Thought you might find this interesting...Zipp moved from Speedway, Indiana to about 10 blocks from my home. They are on the NW side in Indy now. Their prior location was just down the street from turn 1 of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

It's great to have the top wheel company on the planet in Indianapolis. Along with the large number of companies that work on the Indy cars, these guys get service from many of those same companies...

Enjoy. The whole wheel is US made except for the Belgian made spokes and the Swiss bearings.

You should dig through their dumpsters and put together an awesome wheelset with parts they are throwing out!

You live in Indy? What a disapointment, I always thought you were a European
Next time you're visiting, can you ask Mr. Zipp if he'd be willing to put together a BF group buy on the 404's?

That's what I was thinking. I would love to dumpster dive there sometime.
