FS: 1990 Davidson Impulse (57cm C-T)
For sale is an exquisitely preserved custom Davidson bicycle. Purchased years ago from the second owner, this machine was treated gently, abuse-free and has always lived in a climate controlled environment. It didn't need excessive cleaning but as I do with every refresh or restoration, I gladly gave it that bringing it down to the bare frame and building it back up, piece by piece, with new elements throughout (housing, cables, hoods, tires, bar tape, grease and oil).
The legendary Shimano Dura-Ace 7400 groupset was nothing but a delight to bring back to life. The components are akin to functional artwork being exceptionally gorgeous in their finish, deadly precise in their operation and of the highest caliber during their era.
This one came out just about flawless. Super clean, brilliant luster in the pearlescent paint and chrome that is simply extraordinary all around.
It's not a New Old Stock bicycle, but it’s about as close as you can get.
