Mavic Cosmic Equipe Campy Wheelset 700c
For sale is a front and rear Mavic Cosmic Equipe Aluminum clincher wheelset with a Campagnolo 9sp rear cassette, 30mm aero profile. These have the desirable FTS hubs.
The front is 830g with 18 straight pull stainless, radially laced spokes. There is a small scrape on the drive side that measures about 20mm in width. It does not interfere with the inside of the rim where the tire seats. See pics.
The rear is 1060g with 20 stainless steel straight spokes laced 2 cross on the drive side, radially on the non drive side. This rear wheel is for Campagnolo cassettes and will come with the 9sp one that is installed.
Included are the warranty cards, instruction manual, special hub tool and I have a proper wheel box to ship them in, $40-$50 for shipping.
These were the lighter weight climbing wheels my friend had for his 1998 Waterford and he barely used them. $150 OBO buyer pays shipping

Looking more towards Kingman. Trying to decide whether it's more economical to ship than drive. Have you checked shipping prices lately? Through the roof over the last year or so.

Ya, I get out to Williams during the week when the weather is good once in a while. We like to drive our classic car there to eat pizza and ice cream! A trip out that way should be coming up soon.

Actually, shipping thru bike flights isn't nearly as bad as the regular shippers. Gimme a zip code and I'll see how bad it is. I think it was $40 to the east coast earlier this year for a set of wheels

That's pretty reasonable. Give me a little bit to think it over. Good deal, but I really need an eight speed cassette. Need to find one and then install it. Just trying to figure out how much I'm willing to spend to get this bike back on the road.

I have a Campy 8sp cassette on a set of Campy wheels, like new. I just haven't listed them yet. Lemme take some pics.

Do you still have these wheels? What's the size of the cassette? I'm in central AZ and can pick them up
