Glad to find all of you
Interested in and loving bikes for pleasure and commuting.
Got deeper into bikes for weight loss and physical anti-depressants about 6 years back and stuck with it.
Don't anything very fancy and usually buy used.
My preference is sitting upright with swept back handle bars: pleasure riding, but do appreciate (and sometimes wish for) aero bike/position when facing a destination deadline and a fierce headwind.
Just bought a (92-93?) Specialized Deja Two, I'm attempting to restore/tune it. It's not in terrible shape but needs some love.
Most of the time can be found riding a Priority Onyx Continuum and try to ride it 3 seasons, have put very little maintenance into it over the last 2 years of ownership so it's living up to its purpose thus far.
For winter riding, a 1985 GT Outpost with a late 50s Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub gear, studded tires, and a decent fender set, built as part of a winterized '365' bike from our local bike shop.
Have a 2013 SantaCruz Superlight bought used, needs front and rear suspension restored before doing anything on it so that'll be either a learning experience or costly.
My wife has a Priority 600, a hand me down I'd ridden but grew frustrated with the rear LOUD freewheel sound and the iffy pedal clearance.
A few various other in the mix I don't ride so much.
Looking forward to reading about you all.
