Are we this stoopid?

An attractive scam, just for us. Nice vintage bike stuff, almost free. The reviews are excellent! Even the scam reviewers seem unsure about this one.

I fell for something similar buying an attic fan. It wasn't that cheap but it was "reasonable". Once my payment had been processed I went back to check on it and the website was GONE. I searched several times and not a trace of it. I'm sure my fan will be here any day though.....

All it does is aggregate eBay pictures and text in a database and throw abnormally low prices under each of them. The topic that the robot selects when creating a page like this is likely random as well.

I doubt if the scammer is specifically trying to capture C&V'ers.

HAHAHA one "product" has a still from an RJTheBikeGuy video as its icon picture.

Are they banking (no pun intended) on the notion that anyone stoopid enough to fall for the scam would also be too embarrassed to contact PayPal or their credit card company to admit their stoopidity in order to get it cleared up?

Gotta love the size drop-down menu. Are we buying shoes, clothes, or wheels?

The scammer just hung around BF C&V forum a bit and found out what colossal cheapskates we are, so decided nothing over 40 bucks should get us hooked.....

Would you want a wheelset that is "just as describe. Super Soft and Comfy"?

Or you could think of it a buying a lottery ticket for $25.99. True you almost guaranteed won't see them, but if you did you'd have a Roval wheelset for $25.99!!

I got a letter from Warren Buffet himself the other day. He's going to give me 6 million dollars. He's wiring it to my bank account as we speak. I'll buy you all Colnagos or De Rosas.

Is it okay if you make mine a custom JP Weigle or Alex Singer?

Wow! this is evil. That old saying, "if it seems too good to be true, then it probably isn't" is something we all need to learn. Thanks for sharing.

Some of my bikes were for sale on similar sites, for $69,95 each. Apparently they are not worth that, as nobody has come to pick them up so far.
