I don't think I have any ugly bikes. Even my humble Peugeot UO-8 has great graphics and a "faded glory" look.

When I was a UCLA student, my protection from bike theft was a can of spray paint -- Capo #0's double-butted Reynolds 531 frame was covered with dull black Rustoleum topped with yellow, white, and green blotches. My trusty old Armstrong 12-speed (14-16-18-20 cogset on a Sturmey Archer AW hub) had a similar treatment over dull white forks and flat black frame, plus "JUNK" lettering down the fork blade. At Earth Action Council, our unofficial motto was, "Always park next to a better-looking bike with a flimsier lock." I came to think that bike weight + locking system weight was a constant.

I'd have to say it's my winter bike. (Marin Pine Mountain) It's very practical and durable, but it's kinda' ugly too.

Is there a prize?

This is probably my ugliest bike. Used it to take my kid to preschool and to run grocery errands. It's since had a makeover, and no longer has a child seat. Check out that chain!

@ Auchen - I actually really like that bike aesthetically...it's a work horse and looks like a good one.

Well - the question isn't what's your ugliest trash dump bike...it's just what's your ugliest bike. I have a few - but I think this one is ugliest:

It looks better from afar because you can't see how wretched the paint is.

At least Cannondale was accessorized nicely with the Blue Moon beer.

Well, thanks Aaron. - I don't think you'll be winning the "ugly prize" with your orange entry either!

Diamond-frame 12-speed converted to 2-speed cruiser? A fun bike, but not particularly beautiful.

Trust me - it's photo'ing better than it looks. I also don't really enjoy riding it that much...not quite sure what I'm going to do with it.

Not mine. Belonged to an ironworker who used to work next door. I have absolutely no idea why he did this.

Some call this hot, while others call this ugly. Either way, it's in your face.

Is that a GT Holiday? Frame is definitely not my taste, but I like your build thus far. What is that hand grenade front hub?

Is that your Cinelli? I can't believe I'm reading this from you. I really like that bike, as you well know. Of course, I've not ridden it and that's the ultimate test of a bike, but it does have fenders which adds substantially to the desirability of this bike in my eyes.
