Yes, Stage 1 tomorrow so they were just out to stretch their legs a bit. There’s a local kid on Jumbo, Neilson Powless, who does this ride during the winter and brought his teammates today.

Cool! I didn't know he was from NorCal! The TT should be fun. I watched the TT last year in Morgan Hill. I'll be headed there Tuesday at the finish line.

Better than 0 miles. 100 miles is great. 0% of the public will ever ride a bike 100 miles in a week. With cyclists like you that is routine

Good for you! Managed 93 miles this week - “sucks” is the right word for the weather. Rain, wind and a little anemic sun (except for Monday).

My weekly goal is always 100, but last summer/fall I was getting around 130-140 in each week. Commuting 20 miles r/t builds up the total nicely when i can do it 2/3/4 times a week, but it's hard to convince myself to ride to the office when it is cold and damp. This was the first time this year that I hit 100 even with indoor training thrown it.

Gorgeous ride this morning, 2 hours while the entire county seemed to be either in church or in bed still. Love riding on holidays!

Crossing High Rock Lake

I love the removable fender. I was ready for the rain!

Enough dirt and gravel to walk across.

The old culvert got stopped up and washed out the road.
61 miles over to the in-laws for Mothers Day. I rode faster than normal trying to beat the foul weather.

Not sure what time you were out but I can assure you that nobodies were in church for the majority of the time that I was riding today. Computer went on at 12:30AM and off at 6:30AM.

I was finally able to complete the ride I wanted to do the two previous times I went out this past week. The 100 mile first segment of Tuesday's 141 miles was better than Friday's 91 miles as far as accuracy but today's ride turned out to be the pičce de résistance !!!

Not really sure why you had to quote my post unless you needed some contrast. But, since you rode longer AND used another language WITH bold type, you deserve praise.

33 miles this morning with 8 other folks on a club M-W-F training ride. About 45 F at the start, which is COLD for May 13.

Sunday afternoon, a "bathtub ride", down out of the hills, across the valley and up the other side, then down across and up again, then down and up onto the home hill.

Last night a long two hour meander after dark. Solid ride. Two dog encounters and one long multi-part honking-at by a passing pick-up.

Part 1 for me was a month and a half ago. Most significant vaccine side effects I have ever had but quite tolerable and gone within about 6 days. Looking forward - not - to second shot at 2-6 months interval.
Thanks for the link.

My part 1 was over in about a day, but this time was a lot worse. Saturday was miserable, I was just absolutely flattened and had a to cut short a shopping trip to come home and collapse. By Sunday evening though I was pretty good and squeezed a ride in.

At the pharmacy I asked the person giving me the shot how the side effects would be this time around. She said they're usually not as bad as the first time, but that had the feeling of comforting words without factual backing. It was worse.

But I'm sure yours will go better.

Can't wait for my final Shingles shot......will probably procrastinate a bit but still get it within guidelines.

Yesterday - 34 mile group training ride in the morning and then in the evening rode to downtown Indy and participated in a Ride of Silence event and then rode home. 22 miles.
Today - 24 mile club ride.

21 1/2 miles this morning on the Silver Comet Trail. First time I have gone over 8 miles in about a decade.

My taint hurts, but I felt great other than that. Took me 1:36 with a five(ish) minute break at the 10 mile point, and a couple of stops to take pictures. So 13 1/2 mph. I'm ok with that - for now.

Got home a little after lunchtime, and immediately hopped in the shower, as the temp soared up to 84° already, here in Richmond, VA!

I enabled "Strava" on my phone, and rode 32 miles in a big loop into the next county and back home.

32.00 miles exact from my driveway.
2 hr 5 min 58 sec total time.
15.2 mph avg speed.

Here's a closer image on my C&V '85 Fuji Del Rey and the Farmer's Market across the street in Manakin-Sabot, VA on Broad St.

I wanted to do 40 to complete my 100 for the week but only had time to do 30. It was a great day which meant that all the usual NYC riding spots were packed. I wouldn't even try to go to Central Park.

A 34 mile tandem ride/club ride earlier today. Hot and sunny but not as hot/humid as it will be getting before long.

A 61 mile organized ride. I was worried how I’d do with a bad back plus the 100 milers on Wednesday and Thursday but the legs did okay.

Wonderful ride

I got in 35 miles this morning on my recently rebuilt early 90s steel. I have owned the bike since it was new, bought in 1992. I had the bike equipped as a flat bar the last 4 or 5 years but spending time on BikeForums convinced me to rebuild the bike from the raw frame. Riding that bike this morning was a terrific experience! It all came back to me just how much I loved riding this bike. It is comfortable, quick and nimble. It rides really good into the wind. My new, old bike just became my favorite ride again, 2 hour ride and no tingling, numb hands. It is my first rebuild and I spent more dollars than I was planning on, but the end product is worth every bit of it. It was also my first experience doing a rebuild.
I like!

Waiting for Winter Part II to end here in NorCal.
I can't believe it's mid-May and it's cold and raining. At this time of the year my riding should be full steam.
Really sucks.

It was cool and overcast here in So. Cal. No rain and hardly any wind.

I rode 55 miles, including some the ATOC segments from Stage 5 of the men’s race and Stage 1 of the women’s race.

Arroyo Paredon Creek bridge, which was nearly washed away during the 2018 Montecito mudslides was finally repaired in time for the men’s race to go through the area (last year the race had to be detoured around the damaged bridge).

Bonked. 44 miles, 4,800’ climbing up 2 ‘gaps’. About 75% gravel. Ran out of water, steam and battery power on the final climb. Need to be better prepared for this approx. 65 mile, 6,000’ loop.

100% FULL MOON illumination tonight so get out and ride!!! https://www.calendar-12.com/moon_calendar/2019/may

Got out at 12:08AM Saturday after 1 hour of sleep with the MOON at 98% illumination and it was phenomenal. Turned all solid lights off leaving only blinkies on in a remote section with no houses and it was eerie yet calming. Goal was 100 miles in 6 hours but due to 2 comfort breaks timing wasn't looking good with 15 miles to ride. Some fast thinking with the solution being a criterium type of ride in the streets by my house. Managed to complete with seconds to spare then wound down or another mile. Back home and take a long HOT shower, take care of the munchies, chill out a bit then off biking to drug store and then food shopping. Got an additional 24 miles so hit my secondary goal of 125 miles.

51 mile solo

51 miles with 3,000+ft of climbing. Unfortunately, the Rest stop at the halfway point was closed
Probably not the best place to "hydrate" on a ride anyway.

Friday evening, a speed run to the greenway. Having done longer rides the previous week then allowing time to recover, I felt pretty great. Could have been a PR contender on that run except I caught both lights, and at the first light a police cruiser came screaming through with me off to the side during the green, and the light lost track of me and never gave me another green arrow, so no PR that day.

Saturday evening a long one (long for me, not for anyone else here). I wanted to see if I could get to the uni downtown from way up north where I live. I made it in good time, taking the direct route, but got lost on the way back in a giant office park after dark with curvy roads all over and ended up with 3h21m in the saddle. Two days recovery following.

I know this feeling and love it. That moment of solitude and serenity. You can hear the world; you can feel your feelings; you can hear yourself think. It's a big part of why I'm fit now, again, after 20 years of working in front a computer and doing not much else. The memory of this feeling is a motivator that never fails to keep me going back in the hope of more of it.
