Late 81-ish San Rensho Super Record Export full restoration. At 54.5 c-t-c square, it's just too small for me and I don't want to take it to fleabay so I'd prefer to swap it for something equally nice in 56-57.

Dang! Why are they all seemingly so small? I have all the bits to go on one, just need to find one in my size (60-62cm). That's lovely. Who did the repaint/rechrome?

The chrome work was done by Industrial Plating in Omaha and the repaint by Yellow Jersey in Madison who originally sold the bike. I've got an '85 Waterford Paramount full restoration--it's Fireball Red--in your size if that's of any interest.

Seattle Area:
On the hunt for large (61-63cm) frame for a friend. Have lots of potential frames / bikes to trade. Have a donor bike with full ultegra that I plan on using on the large frame when I find one. Would prefer steel, aluminum okay too -- titanium probably a bit much.
Possible bikes / frames to trade:
The current donor bike frame is a 58cm CAAD3 R1000. Bright orange looks brand new. Maybe a couple tiny nicks down around the BB. Slice carbon fork, full ultegra (that I plan on using, unless something comparable can be had on a large complete bike).
Trek composite 57/58 cm 2200. Full shimano 105. My current daily, everything in good working order / recently tuned. Aluminum fork, and stays, carbon composite tubes. Good riding bicycle, unique but I'm not married to it.
61 cm 1987 cannondale. Fully converted to modern components (ultegra). Paint fully stripped -- bare aluminum. Both carbon and steel fork. One dent on the top tube (thousands of miles have been ridden since the dent). This is a cool bike, turns lots of heads. Classic Cannondale, big tubes... super light, super stiff. Carbon fork + custom piece for the back brake bridge have converted it to fit 700c wheels. Has eyelets for fenders / racks too!
Bike boom steel.. Late 1960's early 1970s "Hermes" headbadge ~ 55 cm bike. Decal denotes "Hand made italian". Nice color, good paint. I could give it a whole lot of TLC but I won't until there is a use for it. Sat for a long time, most components are probably shot / need rebuilding. I would think of it as a frame. Could not find much info on these bikes. The headbadge is really cool though if you collect those.
Would prefer to deal locally... just want to get this bike built for my abnormally tall friend!
Pictures of anything upon request / I will post when I have a chance. Trade or looking to buy a big frame. Big Frame would hopefully be compatible with 700c wheels. I am willing to coldset steel to fit a cassette if necessary.
Thanks!

I received you PM but my low post cound does not let me reply. The way I keep getting bounced off the forum it might take a month to get four more posts. If you send another pm with an email address I can send some hi-res photos. Also, if you can get to Plainfield I can get my frame there this week. I have a friend from there who's comming down here Monday.

1992 Trek 1200 54cm. Beautiful frame in perfect condition. Not even any scratches. Bike appears to have been a wall hanger with verdure miles. Willing to trade complete bike or frame and fork. Has RX100 groupo, new Bontrager saddle, carbon seat post, Cinelli 44cm bars, new bar tape, original Matrix wheels.
Trade for comparable frame in 52-53cm

Have this solid 64ish cm Trek 560 frame, from 1983. Has a few rust spots, but were treated years ago so it wouldn't spread. Looking for something 59-60cm, early to late seventies European, which seems to be what I am gravitating towards after years of collecting bikes. I hardly even have 80's bikes anymore. Surprise me! Not averse to French, as long as the BB/headset are rebuildable. Another Super Course?,,,BD

The Blue Banana, when you say compact, do you mean in the seat tube, the top tube, or the wheelbase? Or something else? I might have something for you. Please email me.

I have this Trek 720 hybrid frame offered for trade. It's not worth much, I know, and I'll take any offer. It's called a 56cm, though if I measure from center to center, I get 52cm. Maybe it's rated that way because of the extending seat tube. I did ride it, built up as a touring/commuting bike, and it fit me, and my ideal size is 56cm, so it could be that 56 is the right size to call it.
The fenders and rack are not included. You can have the headset, handlebars, and stem if you want them. You will not want the brake levers, I promise.
More images here, from when it was a complete frankenbike.

Well I'll play this game. This thing's top tube is a bit too long for me.
~1986 Battaglin, Columbus SL tubing, lugged, pantographed everywhere, Tange fork
ST: 57 c-c
TT: 57 c-c
HTA: 74
STA: 74
Hands down, this is the fastest, best climbing bike I've ever ridden. Fits 700x28s with ease. Frame is in excellent condition for its age, very few marks or chips. The fork is not original but there are no signs of trauma. Does 20mph no handed without flinching.
Would like something with comparable tubing, 56.5-58 c-c seat tube, 56 c-c top tube, and ~73d HTA/STA. Lugs and eyelets a plus but not necessary.

I have this, a 52cm frame, circa 1996, it's in super condition.
Short of selling it outright (it's in the C&V classifieds), I am seeking a 60cm Cannondale frameset in equivalent condition for a straight swap; I'd to move the components over to the larger frame and make the bike a spare or for my larger son (smaller son isn't feeling the cycling thing).

Schwinn Premis 23"
Northern Illinois strongly preferred....
Got this in a roundabout way, not face-to-face, thought it was a big bike....well, it's not big enough. I'm 6'3", so looking for something 61-63cm that can take fenders and racks, or an equivalent quality mountain bike. Not pristine, but not a beater either. Should clean up fairly well. Can trade the frame, the parts, or the whole bike, matters not to me.

Riding like its 1990
55cm Dave Scott Ironman Powdercoated White
Frame and Fork, just not using it anymore and losing time to ride
Two small dents on the top tube, not deep
Looking for touring/cyclocross frame in 54cm (56cm if it has a shorter top tube) or something interesting, even modern component set or something decent.

Looking for a vintage late 70's French frame. I have this Motobecane Grand Jubile 64cm for trade. Something of similar quality. Its Vitus tubing, but I would be open to anything French. 60-62cm would fit me.
