Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

As a Professional Saxophonist, playing for 38 years total, 22 years in the USAF Bands, I listen to Jazz almost exclusively. I'm not trying to be a music snob, but some music just bores the hell out of me. I'm not a fan of rap, and this new pop punk is total crap. The best jazz was recorded between the years 1938 and 1965. After that Jazz started changing into different forms of music. Jazz Rock, Latin Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Bozza Nova, Jazz Rock Fusion, Hip hop Acid Jazz... and so forth. I'm listening right now to Stan Getz with Kenny Barron! Totally Burning!

Scott +1. You have good taste, my friend. I'm all about WARP musicians. Just started listening to Hudson Mohawke; this guy has some very creative and high energy tracks
