Addiction 2022.1

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

No, I didn't. I did see that they were pretty damn affordable though. Would like to see some good reviews on them.

Yah, the timekeeper are intriguing but upon further inspection it seems only their gravel range is hookless

Lunching on the strip in Tulum. Tulum is the hot ticket these days. The bar must have dropped since I was here last. It is a mask free zone though, which is quite nice

Very much in my 'hood! Did you go up the Sam Merrill trail? That little bald spot with the red tint is from a fire last week. It got knocked down really quickly.

The news these days reminded me of one of Mrs. GeneJockey's jokes. She was visiting her Dad in Florida and while they were dining out, they were bothered by some weird kind of fly, which Mrs. GJ said seemed unkillable.

The waitress offered to move them to another table, so Mrs. GJ asked, "Is it a No Fly Zone?"
