Fairhope, Alabama area riding?
I live in Nashville, TN, but am retired and thinking about renting a place in Fairhope, Alabama in January to train year-round (and just get a break from the cold). Are there any cyclists on here that live in that area? What are the road conditions like? Are the locals respectful of cyclists? Are there any paved trails? What are the bike clubs in the area? I'd love to connect with one!

There's a tri/bike shop in Fairhope that hosts weekly rides. Probably a good place to start.
Across the bay, Mobile hosts a crit every year (I used to officiate) along with a century ride, so there is some organization locally.
There must be a bike club of sorts, but the only web info I found is this: https://www.bicyclemobile.org/riding-in-mobile/
