9 speed Ultegra was a long time ago.

When I couldn't get a good selection of 27" tires for my old bike I got rid of it and got something that I could find a good selection of tires for.

Years later when I didn't see a good selection of already built wheelsets for rim brakes, I got a bike with disc brakes.

I guess what I'm trying to say is its easier to find parts for things that are currently in production. Though the current inventory shortage of everything bike related has sort of turned that upside down somewhat. But maybe by this time next year things will be better.

For the Ultegra heads .... maybe find someone with a3d printer, and make a few sets and EBay them? If you just need one side, maybe someone with a 3D printer can scan it and flip it somehow?

Used to be there were a lot of old parts on EBay, but people started buying them .....

used to be a million left brifters because the right always broke. Top caps for brifters were always in demand because if you crash, they break.

think I bought some 27" tires not too long agao .... Conti Supersports I think. Might just be hard to find .... but I'd stock up (in fact I did.)
