I was livin' it to the "fullest." Huge salad, baked macaroni n cheese, corn, green beans, fried okra, chicken pot pie, pork chops, rolls, red velvet cake, pecan pie ...

My wife bought me some steel cut oats rather than the standard Quaker Oats in the big tube. That stuff expands like hell in the microwave.

They are much better when slow cooked on the stove top. Takes forever, for oats anyway.

I, on the other hand, just plowed most of a medium pizza.

I made those yesterday. But instead of 1/2 cup of molasses I used 1/4 cup of black strap and 1/4 cup of dark rum. Plus I used 1/2 cup of rum soaked raisins. Plus I did a couple of shots while baking.

'tis the season.

Everyone devoured them post-ride. Yummy.

making brown rice and some Jaipur vegetables. These Indian food things I buy at the store aren't bad. They're cheap and they make a bunch of rice palatable. Get my carbs, get some protein and a little fat.

We make a few Indian dishes. They are labor intensive since you have to chop, peal, clean etc allot of vegetables and spices but when you are done they taste really great and are good for you as well.

That's why I just buy these things in the pouch at the store. $2 each or something, and I can make 3 big plates of rice taste good with them.

Threw some frozen green beans in the microwave just now too.

Gawd there is the Indian restaurant in Ann Arbor Mi called Mysor Woods. They can make canned green beans taste like a 3 star restaurant entree.

I'm thinking of spicing it up too, help clear my head. Not sure what I'm gonna use. I've got sliced Jalapenos, some mild banana peppers, some ancient Tabasco (that I assume is fine, can it go bad?) some Texas Pete, and some Caribee hot sauce.

hmm... none of them are very Indian.

If you can get some "indian curry" put a couple table spoons of oil in a small pan and add a table spoon of the curry powder and put it on med-high heat. Stir and stir until it foams up a little. Curry needs to be cooked before you use it. You can add some minced garlic, minced tart apple, serrano pepper, minced onion and cook for a few more minutes. Mix that into something you like and you'll be ok. Instant Indian.

In Chicago, on Devon street, is little India. We did allot of our shopping there. Great shops. Patel Bros. etc. There is a guy there who is an excellent barber too. I think he is the best Ive had since Ive live in Sao Paulo Brasil.

Made an egg/rice thing for dinner.

4 eggs, about 3/4 cup of brown rice, some banana peppers and juice, and some pepper. Not too shabby.

I think I cooked the spicy out of the peppers. Should've put them in late.

The holidays are killing me! Today was mozzarella en carozza (literally means mozzarella in a carriage in italian). Pretty much it's a grilled cheese on french toast.
