What’s my vintage 76 Bianchi Specialissima worth?

The subject bicycle is a 1975-1976 Bianchi Specialissima Barcelona, which was the top model at the time. The components are first generation Campgnolo Super Record. Mint green never ridden in mint condition. Any idea if it’s worth?

Couldn’t seem to post photos in this new thread. Thanks for the link. I have found quite conflicting info and as my dad is willing to sell I want him to get what he deserves for it. Im unfortunately not very well versed in its value.

If I were buying the bike, I would pay as much as $800.00 US. If I were selling the bike, I would not accept one penny less than $1600.00 US for the bike. I would want a bit extra for the shoes but might be talked into throwing them in if I were selling. Those are what I think the market would bear in my small town of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Both prices might be considerably higher in bigger US, European or Asian cities. If I were to sell on Ebay, my starting price would be $2200.00 US but I would be open to offers. Once again, shipping is extra.

...it's a wonderful bicycle, and it's a shame it never got ridden. I guess you might be able to sell it for $1500 or $1600 on the San Fran Bay Area Craigslist, if the market for these picks up again. Right now, it would be a tough sell at that price. I know this because I've had some better old steel road bikes listed here for a month or two, and there's not much activity. Ebay maybe. That's another world entirely.
